Re: The Candlestone - Deeper Thoughts

I hope you'll keep thinking about the meaning of the candlestone, but I was wondering if anyone thought about the symbolism of the three glass domes. What do you think they represent?

Re: The Candlestone - Deeper Thoughts

Hi,

With the glass domes, I have some different thoughts in mind. One of my idea was trinity, for some reason it always involes three different areas.

Another idea is where a beginning, middle, and end. You start in the anchor area like your beginning your life. The diver your in your mid life. Then the restore tube, its like the end of your life on earth but you are being reborn in heaven.

Maybe the three tubes could mean Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. Father would be the anchor because He will always be with you, the anchor never wants to let go of the diver. Then the diver I would think could be Son, always reaching out to people to help them out of darkness. The diver went into the dark corridors of the candlestone. The the restore tube would be Holy Spirit. For some reason the Holy Spirit want to fill you with renew strength.

Well those are three different idea that I just thought up. Maybe one of these is what you were thinking Bryan. Have a blessed day.

Your Sister in Christ,
Tracy

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pasture, He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul, He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake." Psalm 23:1-3

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23

Tracy,

You really nailed it. I am pleased that you're so insightful. Well done!

Re: The Candlestone - Deeper Thoughts

ok. Then I have a question for you from Raising Dragons.

On page 138 Billy's mom says "And you sewed in hidden zippers at the bottom." Then on page 238 Billy says "Wait! Don't take it off! We'll just stuff your wings back inside." and Bonnie says "I don't have any choice. My wings won't stay hidden with the holes back there." Why didn't they just zip up the zippers?

Good question, NJ.

Try to picture two holes in the back of the shirt. There aren't actually any zippers in the holes themselves. The zippers begin at the hem of the shirt and run up to the bottom of each hole. Because of these zippers, Bonnie can unzip from the hole to the hem and easily put on or remove the shirt.

Does that clear it up?
