Who will die?

Yes, it's a morbid topic, but someone good will die in "Tears of a Dragon" and stay dead.

I want to hear your opinion. Who will die and why?

So, don't just vote. Please give your reasons.

I put "other" at the bottom, because if you give me a good enough reason to kill off someone that I haven't thought of yet, I might just do it.

Edit: The "One of Karen's" should be "One of Karen's sisters" i.e. Rebecca, Stacey, or Pebbles.

Re: Who will die?

I voted for Jared cause I think he's been on this world long enough, and I thought he was going to die any way. This will really hurt Billy though. I think maybe his dragon form can stay around somehow, but I think I'v figured out Merlin's last riddle. I dont think the dragons are going to be around much longer.

I think Kyndra is on to something the last poem doesn't sound very hopeful for the dragons.

Re: Who will die?

Has eye not seen, has ear not heard
The love that sets men free?
From scales to flesh he softens hearts
From red to white he bleeds.

And when the warrior rests his blade
With virgin bride he kneels
The dragons fade from scales to dust
And bless the golden seal

Hmmm. Merlin's a crafty fellow, isn't he? emoticon emoticon

This could have several interpretations.

Have you noticed that red and white have been the theme colors throughout the series? Study the entire poem carefully, check every reference to red and white in the books, and you might be able to figure it all out.

Re: Who will die?

the stanza that got me was:

Content to suffer wrapped in chains,
A dragon leaves the skies.
Content to bleed fo souls unknown,
A dragon bows and dies.

Ahhh! Such a melancholy prophecy. But remember John 12:24. What fruit does a fallen seed bear?

I really don't have a reason as to why I voted for Clefspeare. I think, somehow, it would be fitting. I'm not entirely sure why yet. I think it would help shapren Billy's character in the end, knowing he is something like Luke at the end of Return of the Jedi--the one to bringer a lost race back to life. Something like that.

Re: Who will die?

it should be ms. bannister because a huge, but not too huge, character should die. since bonnie already thought she was an orphan, it wouldn't give her as much impact if hartanna died. ms. bannister dying would make billy feel closer to bonnie, sharing the same "orphan feelings"

Once again, FB and I are on the same page. I think it would almost have to be Jared
