When you're thinking about who might die, it's crucial to think about the effect on the story. When you think about it, the story would be ruined if certain characters died, but it could be that the story practically demands that a character pass away to fulfill the storyline.
Think carefully. The answer might come to you.

I understand how that is. I came to the decision to kill off a character in one of my stories, but I didn't know who at the time. Later on, much to my chagrin, the story chose for me. I ended up killing my favorite character because his death pushed another character into the final stages of growth I needed him to be in before the end. I cried. It was so not cool...but the story demanded.

Clefspeare--Hopefully I'll remedy my lack of books sometime this week (though I might not get to read til after my test--gotta love summer school  ). Then I'll venture a guess.

I said Jared/Clefspeare...as much as that saddens me. My friend who introduced me to the books & i were talking about it, and the prophecy just sort of prompted him & I to think that. I can't remember exactly waht the part was though...

I have been on vacation.Wow!!!The thought of one of the charachters dead?? I voted for Clefspeare because of the cover of TOAD.That makes me almost not want to read it
