RPGing Rules

Alright, alright, alright!! Thank you, Mr. B. for this wonderful place!!

Now, I am going to put down a few rules, and if anyone else has anymore, please tell me, or tell Clefspeare, or a MOD, and one of us will edit the rules.

1. No SPAMing. What is SPAM, you ask? Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. SPAM clutters up the board and makes it harder for people to understand what is going on. Any 1 or 2 line sentences are also considered as SPAM

2. No godmoding. If you have a character that you are playing as, don't go into a powerplay. Ex.: Vaylorian blast Valcor with a giant blast of ice and shatters him into a million pieces!!
That is a big no no. No one hit kills or anything like that. Not cool.

3. Don't RP for anyone other than yourself. Only do this if that person is away and has specifically asked you to do it for him/her. Again, not cool.

4. No flaming. Please keep any flaming of any sort down to minimum. Flaming is considered as SPAM, and if SPAM happens, this part of the forum is being jeopardized. If you and a certain person have some sort of argument going on in real life, then flame each other over PM, not on the board. If you are to flame somebody, a warning will be issued, and if it is repeated again, then I don't know what to do, because I'm not a MOD, so Clefspeare will take over from there if he feels the need.

5. HAVE FUN!! If no one has fun in here, then what's the point!?

I hope that all of you have fun with this, and that I'm not restricting anyone too much!

Blessings,
Nathaniel

Flammers and spammers have been warned. I will delete any posts of this nature. But We really haven't had a problem with this so far. I'm counting on you guys to behave yourselves.

Awake, Oh ye sleepers!
Arise and awake from your slumber. It's time to rise up and be who you were created to be.
Don't wait any longer, for now is the time. The kingdom is at hand. Pepare ye the way of the Lord.

That's not really fair for those of us without very good imaginations.

Re: RPGing Rules

You guys are taking it too literally. SPAMing is posting ten posts in a row with things like.

"Michael ran."

"He ran into a building."

"It hurt. Hee hee."

Not to say we don't do it, but we shouldn't do it often. I admit to having spammed at one point when I had my main character play solitaire on the floor of the infirmary while we waited fro two of the primaries to respond. Just don't make a habit, neh?
