Re: Looking for Serious art buyer
Lady Emm had a very good idea:
quote: or going to local small bars or coffee shops and asking the owners if you can frame them and hang them on the walls for sale
In the last year I finally noticed that artists do that. Many of the stores in town have artwork in their windows. I once bought a painting when going to a paint store to buy wall paint!

Don't give up Dy. Make some time for painting and tackle a variety of subjects. Have you tried any seascapes or abstract stuff yet? I am a little out of touch. Is your link up to date with all your paintings?

Re: Looking for Serious art buyer
Did you ever try out Lady Emm's idea, Dy? I've realized that a lot of artists do that. Almost every store and cafe in Alliston has artists' work in their windows or in their wall, even places like lawyers or insurance companies. I don't know what the deal is, if they get a small cut of the sale price or a free painting or what, but I'll try to find out (unless you already know). A few years ago I bought a framed William Campbell print while at a paint store (wall paint, I mean). The only problem is that they would want it to be framed, I imagine, but if you are short of frames you could probably find some at yard sales and flea markets and then either refinish them or sand and paint them.
