He didn't even say goodbye to me

since he did not call me to tell me he made it back i called him and left a message so he called me right back.

i told him the least he could have done was let me know he made it that i still love him and i am still his mom.
i can forgive him this time but i agree with free he should respect me, i will never cut my own children out of my life the way it happend to me.

Of course we forgive our children and hopefully all who hurt us. The trick is teaching them the way to live in this world with mutual respect and understanding

he really has not lived with me for five years already that is why I knew it would not last long, but even with all that happend I think you should never go far away from a loved one without saying goodbye.

I guess I over reacted which I tend to do....

Noshie is actually pretty right........
I have a 20 year old living with us till he joins the Navy in April. And he loves us, talks to us all the time, but they're brain works differently.
Things like saying goodbye or calling when it's been a while, does not even cross they're minds..

DY I'm sorry your son left and did not say goodbye, life is short....he should have.

I don't care if they are wired different. I taught my sons to respect other peoples feelings so that theirs in return are respected.

It's no different then teaching them to say thank you and please.

Things around here have gone back to normal. the boys do not do anything to help me when t.j. was here they did at least one chore when they came home now they don't do anything even if i ask many times.
i am not comanding like my son is and i guess I am just an old softy, still it would be nice to get them to help out.
I need to go to work sometime, that would help out a lot they they would have to help out since i would be gone often.
Funny today is so nice i got my cleaning done and have time to get on here.
we got a new bunny he is black.
gonna see about breading the two bunnies.
