9/11, a day when America woke up...
Planes rocket across the sky,
Destinations unknow then, or the horror why..
Evil brought itself onto twin towers,
Distruction follows as the leader cowers...
Buildings lost, along with countless souls..
These people no more will achompish their goals.
Remember them as the heros they are,
I know each one now is a bright, shiny star!
The madness of those who cut short many lives,
They the evil they tell, bitter and ugly lies!
The madness goes on to this very day,
Their ugly acts continue each and every way.
But alas, the future is one that is still bright,
let us all remember, and bring an end to this fight!
9/11, a day when America woke up...
We realized ahead their is a road we all must fight.
Banding together, we will again see the light.
Conviction and faith, these things will make things right..
This is the day, America woke up...

It is not me who should be recieving these compliments however, it is those who gave their lives, and those who died as a result of this horrible event that has made us aware we are not safe anyplace in the world today with such fanatics running loose in the world...
I pray we all can learn from this, be better people to eachother, and give the gift of friendship, caring, and unconditional love without bountries in an effort to bring about a better world as those who died that day, who are true angels would wish us all to surely be...
