So then, I was discussing with Gaz in another thread that it would be a good idea to get all the Motorsport Cabs together for a meetup.
It would be a rare occurence to see a Motorsport Cab even in the days where they were brand new so nowadays it would be an even greater pleasure.
The aim of the meet is this... get as many Genuine Motorsport Cabs together one weekend perhaps. If we can get enough numbers then I'll be contacting the BMW Mags to see if they want to do a feature on us. If we are successful with the above 2 steps then we'll arrange a date, hopefully when it gets a bit warmer as I'm sure we'll all want to get the hoods down.
Also, if you know anyone who owns one, please let them know about this meet and I will stress, this is for genuine cars only and preferably nothing riced up as I've seen one of two that nearly made me cry on ebay, I just preay they werent' genuine.

A very rare car indeed the Genuine Motorsport Convertible.
It would be a great article in one of the magazines with emphasis on the Zone to clear up the confusion.

I would definately be interested, when will be a decisive factor though as i am thinking of stripping the car down in the new year for a major, almost obsessive, "CLEAN UP". Nothing wrong, just something i've wanted to do to get it as close to new as possible. It's never really been worth it as the car was being used almost every day. However, now it's garaged for sunny days/warm evenings only, it is now worth the effort as it should stay pretty much A1 once the effort is put in.
If i get the work done in time then even better, looking forward & fingers crossed. Adam set a rough date and i will then have to get my arse into gear!

2 Macao and 2 Maritius so far then!!
Shall we aim for about June time is is that too far away? The weather should be improving by then and it gives us loads of time to gather the motorsport owners in.
