Re: ARDS Test Booked!!
Good luck mate, watch out for the questions about when you use the mirrors, the answer is at the start and end of the straight not as often as you can! That's what I do now and I'm always getting a bollocking for getting in the way

Re: ARDS Test Booked!!
Well when I was there she said 'Did they say how much it'd be?' I was honest (!) and said 50 pounds. She replied 'Well you're a student aren't you and I don't think that was fifty pounds worth! How does 20 pounds sound' Lovely I said.
20 quid. Not too bad.
I'm gonna have a proper read up of the MSA Yearbook to make sure I know my stuff, it is almost 500 pages!
One question guys....My application form says 2004 application. Can I put a note in with it when I send it off saying I want the licence for 2005 instead? Is that possible?!
Thanks for the good lucks chaps. I'll let you know how I got on afterwards. I really can't wait!

Re: ARDS Test Booked!!
Learn what all the flags are and watch the video that will give you 99.9% of it.

Re: ARDS Test Booked!!
Good good.
I've watched the video once, I think I'll watch it again.
I know most of the flags, I'll just brush up on the exact definitions I think!
I'll read the Yearbook also!

Re: ARDS Test Booked!!
Dave,
My application said 2003, just cross it out and put 2005.
I spent 6 hours reading the blue book the nihgt before my ARDS and then got up at 5 ans read it again for 2 hours and not one question on it came up,I was gutted!!

No problem using it BUT make sure the price hasn't changed, we had a stackload of apps which got delayed last year due to the price going up by £1 and them not sending in the right money.

Re: ARDS Test Booked!!
Oh, and Flags Flags Flags Flags, the rest is pretty much common sense. The Flag test will test you on every flag in the book and you have to get 100% so best to make sure you know them all inside out.
Also, double check the flags mentioned in the video, there are some flags which are now not used according to the Blue Book but are in the video and exam. Think it might be the "slow moving vehicle on track one (white)" but I can't remember.
