Re: ARDS Test Booked!!

I know a few of the flags, most of them in fact, but I don't want to fail on something so silly so I'll make sure I know them 100% for sure before the big day.

Re: ARDS Test Booked!!

Right chaps it's this Saturday!

I've learnt the flags, I'm pretty sure I know them.

Are the flag questions multiple choice? I know them pretty well but not word for word.

What other questions am I likely to face? Are they also multiple choice?

Any tips?

Re: ARDS Test Booked!!

On the test I took at Thruxton ALL the flags were listed and labelled A,B,C etc.

A number of questions were then asked like

Which flag is used to start the race if no lights are used. - You choose which one.

Then which flag is shown at the end of the race. - chequered.

etc, etc
In this sense they are multiple choice BUT as each flag is removed to answer a question the 'multiple' reduces.

Good luck for Sat mate. Don't stress it too much it really is a doddle, to be honest it should be alot more stringent and have an element of instruction but it's nothing more than a basic multiple choice and very tame lap around a circuit.

Excellent. Just want to make sure I don't mess up the theory, that'd be a right waste. I've opted for the 'bit of training' plus test rather than just the test. Just for fun really. Get to drift a Caterham which should be a giggle. I'm not too worried, just very excited!!

Re: ARDS Test Booked!!

The Caterham's are superb and SOO much fun. I nearly bought one years back but when my Mum found out how fast they were she stopped me (I was 17!) and I nearly did the Caterham Academy about 5 years ago but ending up spending my money on a house instead, very wise but very boring! I went to Bedford Autodrome a few weeks back for a Caterham day and if I wasn't doing the Kumho's I'd be racing them instead.

Excellent.

The Caterham bit should be fun, but I'm looking forward to the training in the Elise. That's if I fit, if not I've got to use an Audi A3 Sport. emoticon
Should be fun either way!
