Silverstone 24hr race
Anyone on here fancy a go at the Britcar 24hr race next sept at Silverstone? I've always wanted to have a crack at the endurance stuff. Probably need a minimum of 4 or maybe even 6 drivers so costs wouldn't be as bad as you'd expect

Yep, that's the idea, i've bought an E36 M3 that I intend to develop next year and take into Britcar in 2006. Endurance racing is what I want to do and this would be a sort of 1st bite at the cherry so to speak.

I'm still hoping to get the buzz of racing next year!
A 24hr endurance race must be awesome. Wouldn't be able to sleep.
You'd have to go out on the beers afterwards too, be awake for 36 hours!!

My understanding is that these races work out at about £200 per hour, so a 24 hr one will be about £5000 entrance fee. May be worth clarifying that sooner than later.
