Re: Silverstone 24hr race
Karl,
Entrance fee is £2,400 or £100 / hour. Split that by 6 drivers and it's £400 each which is SUPERB value for money considering we pay around £180 for 16 odd mins in the Kumho's.
It's all the tyres, brakes, spares, fuel, mechanic costs etc etc that make it expensive but it's a MAJOR event that is televised and that alone means sponsorship

Re: Silverstone 24hr race
I'll give you 10% off the 1st pair of slicks but the other 8 will have to be at retail! Just been working some costs out, god it'll be expensive,I reckon if you do it cheap it'll cost around 12k without damage!

Re: Silverstone 24hr race
So really we are looking at £2000 each for about 4hrs racing (based on 6 people). Although it is a great opportunity I will give it a miss.

Ok, what about the 24hr 2 CV Race at Snetterton? They're not that slow either, they get up to 80 down Revett's you know
