Haynes Motor Museum (near Yeovil)

Don't know if anyone here is aware but there is a (small) track at the above location. I've previously been there as part of the 200sx owners club and could probably organise an E30 day there if there was enough interest emoticon

When this has been organised for the 200sx club it's been about £40-50 each for ten people for the whole day. Only 1 car allowed out at a time and as soon as you get off track you can go straight to the back of the queue to go back on emoticon

Has previously been an absolute hoot in the 200 emoticon Let me know if you're interested. emoticon

How long is a lap? Can you do more than 1 lap at a time before having to let the others have a go?

I'd be interested as long as it wasn't 1min on track, 9 mins waiting, 1 min on track as you'd only get 6 laps / hour and you'd never get the tyres or brakes hot enough to learn anything other than how to spinemoticon, come to think of it that sounds like a giggle emoticon

Llandow is another worth considering, it's dead quiet and £125 for the full day on open pit. I use it for testing and last time I was there in October there was only 2 other cars and I had at least 5 hours solid in the car, superb value

A lap takes about a minute I'd say and you get at least half a dozen, probably more like 10 before having to go off so it's not bad emoticon Then it's usually just under an hour until you're back out.

The marshals basically keep you out there until they get bored of you, so drive it like you stole it and you'll do more laps emoticon
