Cam sensor

I am looking to change the injector setup on a M20 325.

Has anyone installed a cam sensor (I cannot see any reference to one so I assume it is not installed).

Re: Cam sensor

M20's don't have one fitted mate.

I think the only way to fit one is to lose the dizzy cap and rotor arm, which would mean having to use a separate coil on each plug or a wasted spark coil set up.

Have you decided which ECU your going to use ?

Re: Cam sensor

Yes I looked at Emerald and DTA.
In the end I bought the DTA.
I am looking to loose the dizzy cap and use a 6 coil pack from the Omega.

I will probably put a wheel on the old rotor setup to get me sequential injection on Jenvey throttle bodies. However sequential injection may not be the best solution - but the option will be there.

The cam wheel looks easy enough to sort out- I was just wondering if anyone else had actually done it.
