I'm gutted. I was all ready to come down. Had my new induction kit fitted and everything. Even woke up at 8 Sunday morning to clean the car, then i noticed my rear drivers side tyre was a little flat. Drove to Sainsbury's and put more air in it, but it only lasted a few miles before deflating again. I went home and got my spare tyre and drove to Kwik Fit, but the manager said they could only fit tyres bought from them, and that he would lose his job if he fitted it for me. Being Sunday, there was no independant tyre fitters opened so i was fcuked. I drove around for a while and came across a 2nd Kwik Fit garage. Took a chance and went in, and lucky for me, the manager there was into modded cars as well. He had a Hillman Avenger (Very old car) parked at the back and the thing had a Cossi engine in it. It was a proper sleeper that would shame most Sports cars. Anyway, he eventually sorted me out (Nail in the tyre, which must have happened at Max Power, cause that's when i last noticed a little loss of tyre pressure), but by then it was 1 o'clock and it would have taken me a good hour to drive down, and i didn't want to get there only to find out that eveyone had gone home, so i decided to give it a miss and watch the footie instead. I really, really wanted to go, and even threathened a perm from moofles for those who didn't turn up, so looks like i'm going to get the treatment now

It's a real shame you couldn't make it Bootyman - i wasn't alone in looking forward to seeing your car in the flesh. I didn't get there until way gone 2pm and it was nearly 4pm by the time people started splitting away.
We'll just have to make sure you get there for the next one. Might leave it until it'a bit warmer though!!

I only made a very quick guest appearance - was dragged out by the family to go and do some shopping.
Thought I would spend a few minutes with them and then get out and join you guys, but got stuck in Boots, as the bloody till machine went mental, and took us almost 1/2 hour to pay for 2 items 
By the time I was done with them, everyone was gone.
Never mind, next time...

Pete welldone with the pics mate very nice, Also like to thanx for everyone turning up and bigup dipps for bringing my bbs.(but u promised 3 cars Dipps?????)lol Nice meeting you all.
