Petrol smell
Sometimes, after starting up, - there is a strong smell of petrol, but none once you are on your way and none when the engine is stopped.
On investigating there are no obvious leaks in the engine compartment and the car runs perfectly smoothly at all engine speeds. So can it be some sort of leak well beffore the fule gets to the engine bay and, if so how might it be so readily getting into the passenger compartment. what can it be please?
Any helpful comments will be much appreciated.

I once had a similar thing, and had to replace one of the fuel lines. Spose couldn't smell it when going as the air blew the fumes away. I've now got a petrol smell when I fill up the tank fully. expect that must be a leak from the top of the fuel tank?
