any alpina bods about

how can you tell the difference between an alpina c25 head and a standard 2.5 head? ive bought the head and ecu off ebay the ecu is genuine alpina so i have no reason to not believe the head is the real maccoy. just trying to find out what the differences are really and what performance gains i can get

There is a thread about it on the Zone if it's the same engine/ecu you are talking about. Was it from Birmingham?

He was on yesterday i think, probably have to wait till Monday when the Zone is back up and running again emoticon

ive only got the head and ecu im under the impression that its off a c2.5 because the ecu runs my car and drives fine

just hope the head is of an alpina now because that should give it a bit more poke with the better cam

I think its the cams that are def different, and i think the ports are a different shape, gasflowed, when compared to a normal head.
Do you have a standard 2.5 head to compare????
