Just for the web user novices, just thought it would be a good idea to start a list of abbreviations that are commonly used.

For starters

IMO = In my opinion
IMHO = In my honest opinion
LOL = Laughing out loud
ROFLMAO = Rolling on floor, laughing my a$$ off
ATM = At the moment
BRB = Be right back
TIA = Thanks in anticipation
YGM = You got mail (ie, email)

These are just a few, hopefully guys you can add to this

TB - Throttle Body
AFM - Air flow meter
TPS - Throttle position switch
ICV - Idle control valve
ECU - Electronic computing unit (computer/brain)
OBC - On board computer

Thanks for these, but these are E30 abbreviations and these are already on the Glossary section of the forum. What I was wanting was abbreviations that we use on the web, ie, YGM = You got mail!

People use them to bounce their thread back the to the top of the forum if they are trying to sell something etc...
