Well im thinking of putting bords into the clusters rather than the bulbs.

A few voltage regulators later and we have a really good system. If im going to spend money on this i might as well go all the way. emoticon

Looks like a bit more work but the results could be worth the effort.

If an effect similar to the late E46 M3 rear lights is achievable then i'm up for giving it a try.

I'm sure Ian Haynes can comment on the potential problems with the electrical side of this.

Well these LED's are again the same ones used on the E46/Merc cars, but in order to insure that they dont get blown you need to fit a voltage regulator to control the voltage and stop spikes destroying the LEDS. But i think the Effect will be very impressive.

I'd like this as a smart touch to my car. How much do you think it's gonna cost it total? How long?

This is of course if you have any ideas yet!? If not not to worry. I'm just wondering!

It will be considerably more than the bulbs on their own. But it will be worth it. A little dremmel work but still its got be worth.
