your belt might be slipping so that could be why its sqeeking, that or its on to tight and the bearings are burning out

Well, I just got a new battery, re-grounded my amp and H/U. Also Re-grounded my chassis to block. I havent touched the battery to chassis ground again yet, though. I just took a listen and it still cuts out. I'm about to go clean up my batt to chassis ground and I will update.

Did that and its still cutting out. So I turned it up and watched the amp. The power light would flicker on and off when the subs cut out. Then it goes into protect for a second, then I turn it down and it comes back on.

my ground is like 5 feet long. but its grounded straight to the battery.

Is my PA amp finally dying? lol....My gain is maybe at 1/4 and no more. with the BB at about +3db. I didnt set it with a DMM so I set it low, so that I wouldnt mess nothin up. I know that sounds totally noobish and that is not the proper way to set a gain. But I was just keeping it down until I got my Q's in. Any suggestions? Most likely just the alt like I originally thought?

best way to find out is invest some $$$ on a dmm jessie. wtf are you doing without a dmm???? lol. you can get one for less than $30. why have all that good stuff if you aren't going to set it right.
