big three
where is the negative part on the alternator? i dont know where to ground the alt. to my car. please help and maybe show me a picture.

here is what i did.
alt + to bat +
alt mounting bolt to bat -
and i dont have the chasis ground upgraded because i have a 1/0 ground run to the back to direct ground the amps, so nothing other then stock stuff is grounded to the chasis.

so what if i didnt do a run of 0/1 awg negativet to the back then would i gound alt. mounting bolt to the chasis?

its better to ground the alt/engine block right to the batt- then the chassis. the chassis from what i hear is only equivalent to about 4g. and then if your grounding your amps in the back just put a piece of wire from the chassis to the bat -
