well if i figure out how to find out how many cubic inches are in that port, can i just make the port like the top pic in mspaint but have it equal the same amount of cubic inches?
this port designing stuff is hard. i suck at math...

yeah, i definently gotta get some graph paper, it looks like it is cutting it close. i wont be able to countersink them at least...
can you just make a port like the mspaint pic? i dont care how wide the port is but make it like 4 or 5 inches deep so there is plenty of room from the port to the subs so i can put the double baffle on top and counter sink the subs easily.
ill be your greatest internet homie in return...

hey, i kinda came up with this...
i just added the numbers together for the port you designed before and it came out to 50, i simply made the port deminsions equal 50 on this one...
that should be fine, eh?
anything you would change?

ok tremor that will work. but you want to use the wall of the box as one side of your port. so make it something like this.

were both on the same page, just in my drawing its like your looking from the top, that 1 inch or so at the bottom is the front wall facing the hatch...
this box is gonna fukin rock...
do you got any good links to reccommend me to so i can school myself on tuning these ports myself for future boxes?
ive gotta design and build boxes for 2 friends pretty soon, one bought 4 tc9's, all i know about them is they are rated at 750rms. im not familiar with them but they are supposed to be pretty decent subs. he paid 315 shipped for all 4, so good pretty good deal. he is the guy i bought the memphis amp from, hes using the other one he bought to run these 4 subs.
the other friend is running two 15" fi SSDs. you designed that box a little while back for me too. here was the drawing i did in mspaint to give him an idea what it would look like in the end, actual size will be slightly off though.
i will use graph paper from now on, it was actually pretty easy in mspaint, i could have made it even more correct but it would be hard for the eye to tell the difference...
damn i type alot...
