ported SI magnum box

just a little review of it first. iv had the sub for a few months but always had it sealed 1.25+polyfill which is the optimum sealed enclosure for it. and it sounded good but the lows never impressed me too much. but they were still good. now that i ported it to roughly 2cubes at 30hz it slams on the lows and is still incredibly accurate, the woofer really came to life i wish i would have done it sooner like i planned. the lows on it are incredible! and it gets soooo much louder.

enough of my **** time for pics!

finished product, i know painted isnt the best look and i still havnt cleaned up my trunk completely yet. i didnt carpet it because i think carpet looks like **** on boxes with a flare. its 2cubes at 30hz emoticon

also wanted to add jon (kickerlivinloud) helped me design this.

no idea how it would look and it's too late to do it now but I wonder how carpet all the way down the port would look? Or just down to where you cant see it anymore...

Looks good though man.

if you do decide to paint the front baffle, the try to get rid of the lines from bending the ports with som bondo. just apply lightly and sand it really well. after that some primer and paint.

Ya, take Chad's advice. Fix those lines and repaint it. Then post the pics. It will look a lot better.
