AudioQue HD3 15 Review

Price: 380 Shipped
Sub Category: SQL

For the price, you can't go wrong. Right now I have two of these subs hooked up to a Massive Audio p3000.1. They are only seeing about 900rms each, totaling to 1800-1900rms. I listen to rap and some techno with heavy basslines. I must say that this sub surpassed my expectations. It plays relatively low while maintaining very nice sq. The subs are in a 14cuft box tuned to 40hz designed by DJ at AudioQue/Digital Designs, DD box. I was skeptical that a box this big and tuned so high wouldn't have the SQ that I wanted. But it plays very well in such a box. I will give these subs another review after they recieve a total of 3krms each. But for limited power, these subs do damage. They work very well at 900rms-1000rms.

Pros: Nicely Priced, handles a lot of power, looks good, great build quality, 2yr warranty.

Cons: Subs love huge boxes. Not to friendly if you have a coupe or sedan. Great for suvs.

Re: AudioQue HD3 15 Review

As you know, I finally have my subwoofers running 3krms total each sub. They handle this power quite easily and sound amazing while doing it! Great subs for 2500rms -3000rms. I wouldn't recommend putting more power to this subwoofer. Although I'm sure it can take it, but after 3000rms, go with a DD95 for its cooling and its other advantages.
