Massive Audio P3000.1 Review

Specs:
3000rms x 1 @2ohms
1500rms x 2 @1ohm
900rms x 2 @2ohms

Price Paid: 500 shipped @ low-hz.com

I'm using this amp to power up my AudioQue HD315's. I'm using 900rms x 2 @2ohms right now because my subs are dual 4. The other amp doesn't work and needs to be sent in. Besides that. These amps are great for the price I paid for them. They really do perform. They are able to push my HD3's and get them moving pretty nicely as well. The amps are two p1500.1's strapped internally and thats why its 2ohm stable. They have 0gauge power/ground inputs. Since the amp consists of two amps strapped, it has two channels. I don't know if that makes it a 2channel or a mono but ok.

Pros: Looks good, blue accent lighting like Hifonics amps, will do 3krms at 14.4volts. 2 year warranty on defects.

Cons: 240amps of current draw. Really big, almost 3ft long. Prices raised from 500 to 600 from what I heard. you can get a kicker 2500 in the $600 range. So unless you can't get this amp for about $550 shipped, open up your options.

Re: Massive Audio P3000.1 Review

After reinstallation of these two amps. They do their rated power! The lowest I know the amps will do is 2650rms at 12.4volts. Which is fine by me. With 2 Odyssey 2150 batteries and 1 irragi 260/155 amp alternator, you will see little voltage drop in drive. The amps actually only draw out 200amps of current. So thats 400 total. Although, I feel that if I was to have a 300amp alternator, I would see very very very little voltage drop at all. In the end, these amps are amazing IMO for their price. Look awesome at night, and the company has great customer service. I recommend to buy from Kevin at Low Hz. He has helped me greatly through my ordeal.
