remote relay

when you guys are installing mutiple amps and processors (like eq, epicenter, etc..), make sure you guys use a 12v remote relay.

you can pick one up at radio shack for less than 10 dollars.

you can burn out your hu if you don't use one.

Re: remote relay

i always do after the 3rd amp. up to 2 amps is okay. heck even 3 amps should be okay but you always want to be safe. its not a big investment so you should always consider it.

Re: remote relay

they are all same. they are there to just turn on the amp. so wether you have something small or large, you just don't want more than a couple of items hooked up to your remote relay.

Re: remote relay

why would you just do it for the sub amp only. do it for everythig. from your hu go to the relay. then from relay go to all your equipments.
