yes there are 4 prongs.

1-12v
2-ground
3-remote source
4-to the amps.

you split the cable that goes out from the 1 prong that goes out to the amps.

i have the detailed pics at home on my laptop. i will post it here for you to see. the pic will show you what each # corresponds to.

you need to look on the package but one prong it 12v constant in, one is power out, one is what will be sendin the signal in to switch it on and one is ground. hope that makes sense
