Componet's or 3 way?
I have fosgate componets in the front doors of my 1999 tahoe, and 3 ways fosgates on my rear doors, both doors are sealed with duramat liners, I need suggestions for replacing my rear speakers, their getting old and buzzing now. Im running a fairly new alpine V12(ALPINE MRV-F540)for my doors. price range = best bang for the buck !

yes I am running 10 kicker comp's at the moment, but will be changing them out very soon for some 12's and a new box. i have a 1500 watt alpine mono amp thats running my subs. speaker size is 6.5. I have pictures of my install that I can post here. i just completed my install this past weekend.

Well since you have components in the front and subs. I wouldnt worry about the back, its just rear fill. The subs will most likely cancel them out. I would just get some cheapy 2 ways.

Hmm. well my 2 sons enjoy the tunes as much as I do, and they sit in the middle seat, Im afraid if I get elcheapo's that i will blow them with ease.

look in to some jl audio 6 x 9s. you can get them for fairly cheap and they sound really great.
