yo chauncey. or anyone who's owned/heard a BL and a Q. which hits lower?
alright so i decided not to do 2 12" arsenals. so instead im gonna do a 15" BL or a 15" Q. unless i found a crazy deal on an ssx. but anyway i have about 4-5 cubes depending on how crazy i get with the bracing n ****. i just need to know which will hit lower. i'll be tuning to 25 hz or lower.

haha i've heard that before. i know of people tunin to 10. they had 2 12s i think in a concrete box that played clean down to 10 hz. but anyway as far as i know i should get more output/efficiency with ported to 25 over sealed. might be wrong cuz i've only built 2 boxes and i have no real experience just whatever i can learn on the net.

I have my Q tuned to 28hz and it's dialed in just right. I love the way it sounds. 10hz? All I have to say is why? Most ppl only hear down to 20hz or so.

Yeah.... I wouldn't go below 28 but thats just me. As for what hits lower, I would assume, with that space, the bl would... but thats just an assumption. But again, I wouldnt tune that low. For tight and clean I would do 30-32 hz with the bl.

well how quick does the sub get out of control below the tuning frequency? like if i tuned to 30 and played a 29hz tone would it sound kinda bad then 28 would it just be floppin around? cuz i like playing with test tones and i was looking forward to seeing what 25hz felt like lol.
EDIT: heres another question: my ehqs12's sensitivity is 89db and the bl is 91db. right now i just have a nine.4 thats running my sub with its rear channels. i figure about 200 watts. would the bl still be louder off that because of its sensitivity or would the ehqs12 be louder? it would be temporary til i can get mono amp.

is the q is 89 and the bl is 91 then power wise the bl will be louder
