Beyond Belief

This topic is for discussion of Williams's acclaimed non-fiction book, Beyond Belief: A Chronicle of Murder and Its Detection, which remains the definitive work about a series of shocking child murders outside Manchester in the early 1960s (known as the Moors Murders), including an investigation into the lives and motivations of its perpetrators, and how they were ultimately caught by police.

"It's all rather stylish and pretty and rather worrying" --Timothy Spall on his costume in Sweeney Todd

"He must have been fun." --Emlyn Williams (liner notes from "Emlyn Williams as Dylan Thomas in 'A Boy Growing Up'")
