For those going to Rag a day early.....
I was thinking about going a day early. Is it necessary or should i leave very early on the normal day to get there on time?......is there anyway the campground will be open early to those who get there a day early...for those who do ..what do you plan on doing?....THANX!

I don't believe that you can stay at the campground. The people who do go down early get a hotel to stay in for the night.

What Liika said is right, you CANNOT stay on the campgrounds the Saturday before Rag starts. I am heading down on that Saturday to get our friends from Puerto Rico, and we are staying in the Best Western near the campgrounds. I did hear a few more are planning on heading down that day as well, but I do not know who, or where they are staying. If you do choice to go on that Saturday, you may want to have a few other people with you to get a cheep hotel room(mine cost around $60) or find someone else who can fit you in. If anybody wants to have a slumber party in Columbus the night before, we can all leave together Sunday if you wanna ^^ Columbus is about 45 min away from Cambridge.

you can stay at the camp ground just not at our camping [Rag area] ...the mundane camping. which is kind of cool but not the coolest like Rag / Eryndor.

Troll doesnt open until 8am on the 17th. The national site has a listing of all of the availble campgrounds around the area.
