We were asked to be there as opposed to another spot near the water. We wanted a different spot near the water, but were asked to take that spot. We had by far the most pre-regs, and we need space to fit 100+ people... and we're trying to simultaneously be polite to other groups who have history. I'm honestly not sure how everyone is going to all collectively get their personal "long end of the stick" on this one, but Eryndor certainly doesn't want to hose anyone -- nor do we want to be hosed.
As long as we have 4 of those slots (wherever they are) and we either have direct or shared access to electricity, we're cool.
Hopefully next year this won't be an issue because we've outgrown Spring Valley.
