A question about some of the responsiblities

I have a small question of concern involving the responsiblities of the EB(forget the HC, it is the EB now).

I was going through some of the things that Athron placed up in his post about the future of Eryndor, and the duties of each member of the EB. What I was wondering about was if a member, or a group of members of Eryndor were concerned about the duties of a member of the EB, and feels that that person is not going their job correctly, who would they need to get in touch with to voice their concern?

Now, don't take this as me saying I don't like who was picked, or with who is doing what. I just wanted to have this known for anyone who may have that issue in the future.

I feel that the choices were good ones for the time being, and don't hold any negitive feelings for them.

Wog, that''s a good question, and one that needs to be added into the by-laws at some point.

The Unit Representative Council is the body that votes on any Executive Board positions (notwithstanding this year, of course). Hence, they would definately also be the body that would have to vote on 'removing' an EB member from their position. The details would have to be worked out by the current leadership, as this is now their realm of responsibility, but I can at least say that was my 'intent' as I scratched out this initial version of the by-laws.

It is the job of the unit council to reflect the will of the Eryndor populace. Thus, any member of Eryndor should go to their unit reps first, or to a trusted unit rep if they are not members of a unit, or approach any of the Executive Board.

Yes, any problems with the way an executive is performing their duties (or not, as the case may be) should be brought to the attention of the Unit Council.

Thank you all for pointing this out for anyone who will have any concerns in the future of Eryndor.

However, I would like to add a small thing to this. Some people maybe worried about pointing out one person on the boards, and would like to make the concern present to the Exec Board, but have no way to contacting the members of the board, or the leaders of each unit. If you can(the members of the Exec Board and Reps of the units) please provide away for people to contact you privatily(I think I spelled that right).

Thank you again.

There are people involved in the Executive Board and the Unit Council at every practice location with the exception of Frozen North. It should not be difficult to contact someone in person.

In the event that waiting that long is not possible, use the runboard inbox and make a post saying to check it. That way no one has to disclose any information on the boards, and the concerned can address their issues discretely.

All EB folks should go to their control panel and change their private messaging settings so that they get e-mail notification whenever anyone PMs them. That way, the concerned party will not even have to make a post on the board to grab their attention.

Or you could call me. there is no Guard representation on the EB so I will be completely neutral for at least this year if this puts your mind at ease about who to approach.
