Edited material from the election threads

I'm trying to ensure that the threads serve their functional role, so I'll be periodically cleaning up posts to keep the threads efficient. I'll paste any of the deleted material in this thread, to sure it always has a home.

I accept Jarred’s nomination for Vice President. As most of you know, I no longer have an allegiance to a specific unit. I believe that this puts me in a unique and rather unbiased situation which would make me a good candidate for this position. Vice President is an attractive position because of its apparent lack of duties. However, if I were to fulfill the position I would do my best to go out of my way to aid the elected president with any of their duties. I’m an incredibly easy person to get a hold of via e-mail, as my job requires me to check it every day. Any of the positions on the Executive Board should feel free to contact me for help at anytime, even if I never fill a specific role on the board.

For the last three years I was a unit leader. I played an active role in decision making in that unit and the unit council. I’ve seen Eryndor grow, and done my share to help it do so. I would love to fill the position of Vice President so that I could continue to do the same in a very active way.

 I <3 me some Eryndor, and I hope to continue as an integral part in pushing it forward into a sea of awesomeness.

Unit council reps can fill the Executive Board, but, as far as I know, unit leaders cannot.

I think Eindridi is perfect for it, though. Perhaps an exception will be made since he's only filling the position for a short while?
