You're bringing plastic bins / garbage bags so that you can keep all of your clothes / sleeping bag / gear dry and nice even if your tent gets wet.... right? You wouldn't do something stupid and ruin a day at Ragnarok by not being responsible and keeping your gear sealed tight, right?
Re: The rains are a'comin' Ma! See if you can find Nikwax products at a camping/backpacking gear store. Or just buy a bunch of cans of Camp Dri and spray yourself silly. And bring a tarp and rope, just in case it doesn't work well enough.
