New Position: ERYNDOR ENVOY
Introducing the Envoy:
Envoys are highly regarded advisors to the Eryndor High Council, and are able to run official practices and testing without a High Council member present. The position is one of great responsibility and service, and is bestowed upon individuals based on the needs of the chapter and personal qualifications.
The following is an alteration of what was recorded in the Naudhras, the official log book of all High Council meetings:
Envoy Testing Stipulations:
In order to run tests at their official practices an Envoy must meet certain specifications.
Fighter Tests:
- Must be at least 10 recruits and higher present at the practice. (These ten can be any combination of recruits, hunters, and heroes.)
- Must be at least 5 recruits present.
- Must be a regular consistant practice. (At least 3 practices within the month to qualify as consistant.)
Hunter / Hero Battle tests:
- The tests must have an approval from the Eryndor High Council. Providing familiar names of the participants and the Envoys personal recommendation is grounds for considering an approval.
Masteries:
- For an Envoy to run a mastery test, at least one current master of that class must be present as a combatant against the tester.
Requirements to become an Eryndor Envoy:
- Must have at least one Eryndor Merit Award
- Must have been to at least one Ragnarok.
- Must have been an active Eryndor Member for at least a year.
- Herald for the entirety of 3 Eryndor practices. The Envoy-to-be will in essence run practices, testing and all, while being reviewed by a High Council member.
- A unanimous vote of the High Council.
Special Ability:
- If any High Council decision is split, the first body addressed to vote is the Envoy position.
Other Note:
The Eryndor Envoy position is an evolving position and certain stipulations and/or abilities may change depending on needs of the chapter.

Any person who has been both SELECTED and CHOOSES TO pursue the Envoy position must also perform a Task of Service to Eryndor. The task can be nearly ANYTHING that is a challenging, selfless, time-consuming task that will ultimately benefit the entirety of Eryndor. The task is conceptualized and created solely by the Envoy-to-be, with High Council approval and recommendations (if recommendations are needed). The task should be something that the Envoy-to-be would find extremely personally challenging, but also personally rewarding when completed.
