Ragnarok XXV - June 13 to 20 at Cooper's Lake

Ragnarok is a week earlier than normal this year, and at the new site, Cooper's Lake (where they host Pennsic, the 18,000+ person SCA event). This date and location reflects the second preference as voted on by the RWC (the first preference was to move to Cooper's Lake, but keep the normal last week in June -- this option was not available).

Eryndor chose to run nightlife this year, I bet we will have some kickass fun planned for Ragnarok's silver anniversary. And did you see the post? TWO light towers!

Oh yeah. I'm trying to put together a small crew to mayhaps run nightlife battles with maybe a story, or a theme for the week. Mithris suggested adding some of that storyline element could add flavor. I think maybe just scenarios could keep it from growing old. Come to think of it, might as well open a thread of discussion for that and see what people look for in night fighting.

FYI - this site is a 18 and over unless you have your parent or legal guardian there. No more being 16 and have a buddy sign you in... Most of us(Eryndorians) are now over 18 but this may effect some...

Yep. If you are under 18, you MUST have a parent of court-appointed legal guardian with you on-site. I know it'll suck for some....but really, this does work in the best interests for Dagorhir as an organization, especially when running an even the size and duration of Rag.

The earlier date means I can actually make it! Woohoo!

I am super excited for this. So much ssspppaaaaacceeee. Also, access to running water? Are you kidding!! I expect some pretty ballin' camps.

Ragnarok 2.0 is officially out of the dark ages.(lolpun) When Rag turns 50 I predict we will all be flying to Europe to fight in a real castle.
