The demise of Fatima Blush...

I think everyone knows the powerful villainess Fatima Blush in the James Bond – Movie: „Never say never again“ (played with application by Barbara Carrera!).

Fatima is a really superior woman and a dangerous foe of Bond. Also, she is very excentric and a little goofy. But her appearances in this movie are over the top sexy (her outfits are classic!!!) and with much suspense. Once more, I think the producer satisfied his high-heel-fetish with Fatima (she always stake in sexy stilettos in this movie, and her heels are often shown in a long shot). Her doings create her to a EVILBABE par excellence… she kills a other minor baddie putting her pet-snake in his car, during he is driving it. Certainly is the following accident deadly for this poor. She trys to kill Bond in several scenes (with a shark – after sleeping with Bond, visible with great pleasure for Fatima! – with some TNT-traps, and finally she wants to shoot him). Mentionable the scene during Bond and Blofeld play this Domination-game, we can see all her vanity and arrogance. She always look very smug, with one exception if Bond escapes with his motorcycle from the truck.

But her snooty and self-contended-character gives Bond the chance to defeat his voluptuos adversary. Fatima stupidly demanded a statement from 007 about she is the best woman of all, and the sex with her was the best ever Bond had!!! Bond blows up Fatima with his pen-gadget… and only was she consigned are ironically her sexy smoking heels!!!

Fatimas character is played very wicked and crazy, really like a witch. So it seemed that her demise, with her smoking stiletto-heels is a parody of the wicked witch of the east in OZ!?!

Certainly F. Blush is one of my favourite henchgirls!!!

Yes. A very superior villainess. Not one who is given any noble virtues either, or who changes sides to join what Maxwell Smart calls the forces of "goodness and niceness" (my pet hates!).

I haven't bothered with the latest Bond movies, partly because it doesn't sound like they are really using villainess characters, and the films sound rather po faced.

I think Barbara Carrera appears as a villainess in an episode of an obscure 90s action show called "The fortune hunter."

That's just one good reason to avoid them. emoticon All in all, they seem to take themselves too seriously and are no longer fun, like with characters like Fatima Blush.

Don't forget to mention Barbara Carrera played the villainess in Mickey Spillane's I, THE JURY (Armand Assante version).

Mine too - she was awesome. I only wish she had beaten the crap out of Bond in a punishing fistfight before smoothing her clothes, adjusting her makeup and demanding that Bond write that fateful note.

QFT Jimbo, if the master crim doesn't run an organisation sounding like an std, isn't hiding out in a volcano or the like, surrounded by boiler suited henchmen, with a bevy of sexy ladies and a pet shark, it isn't Bond as far as I am concerned.
