What type of female villain’s death do you like?
1. Unexpectedly killed in a cross fire.
2. Tell the hero that he can’t kill her but got killed anyway.
3. The hero tried to save her, but she tried to kill the hero thus causing her own death.
4. The villain won and while giving her victory speech suddenly got shot by someone from behind.
5. Got blown away while trying to escape using helicopter, planes, etc.
6. Winning a fight, but killed by an accident such as electricity shock, faulty guns, nails on the wall,
7. Killed in a cat fight battle with the hero’s girl friend.
8. Shot by the boss for incompetence.

Re: What type of female villain’s death do you like?
1 - 4 boring and not innovative ways to kill a bad-girl...
point 5 is interesting if the impressions of the evilbabe are shown
point 6 my absolute favourite - like it if the villainess (or henchgirl) get what she deserved in a ironic or kinky way...
7. cool if the fight is a sexy one (and the dresscodes of the catfighter!!!)
8. sometimes thrilling... if the imcompetente henchgirl is begging for mercy or the boss seems not interested in her failure and suddenly...

Re: What type of female villain’s death do you like?
My opinions are in bold.
1. Unexpectedly killed in a cross fire.
No, that's kind of impersonal. I can't really think of a good one like that.
2. Tell the hero that he can’t kill her but got killed anyway.
Typical villainess boast that backfires. Similar to #4.
3. The hero tried to save her, but she tried to kill the hero thus causing her own death.
Not great. I'm reminded of the bad girls falling to their deaths in INDY JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE and CATWOMAN, when the hero tries to save her. A moment before he was trying to kill her, and now he tries to save her??
4. The villain won and while giving her victory speech suddenly got shot by someone from behind.
I LOVE this kind! A good example is the villainess in COP GAME giving her speech while holding a .45 under the hero's chin when BANG! She is shot in the back! Sneer now wiped off her face, she slowly turns to see who (a girl she made a widow) and is shot AGAIN in the belly, which folds her up! BRAVO!
5. Got blown away while trying to escape using helicopter, planes, etc.
Typical Andy Sidaris ploy. Not great, but mejor que nada better than nothing (getting away).
6. Winning a fight, but killed by an accident such as electricity shock, faulty guns, nails on the wall.
Nails on the wall?? How about spikes in a pit? ;-) This is good too. The villainess is defeated suddenly when it looks like she's winning.
7. Killed in a cat fight battle with the hero’s girl friend.
Always good, but is usually the same as #6, with the more powerful baddie being killed unexpectedly.
8. Shot by the boss for incompetence.
Again, "mejor que nada". My favorite is "Helga Brandt" (Karin Dor) dumped into the paranha pool by boss Blofeld in YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE. But in this case it's the type of death that is more shocking (and exciting!) than merely being shot.
For me, I like the villainess to go down without apologies, "guns blazing". Until the final moment, she thinks she is the victor, but then you see a horrible realization (surprise, agony, etc.) in her eyes/face when she knows she is defeated/destroyed.

Re: What type of female villain’s death do you like?
For me, 1-5 and 8 are mostly not so good but, in the right context and if done well, they can be exciting as a change of pace. My favorite is a villainess who is tough, confident, and competent and who goes down fighting.
6-7 or variations on them are my favorites. She is winning the final battle, or at least confident of her ultimate victory, but then something happens to her (such as an accident, or her opponent gets lucky and finds her weakness, or her overconfidence leads her to get a bit sloppy). She is slowed, weakened and/or partly incapacitated. You see the confidence or thrill of victory fade from her face, to be replaced with an expression of shocked disbelief, which turns to agony and/or fear as she either tries to carry on or simply comes to the sickening realization that her death is near.

This scenario can be good if done well, and this sounds like an awesome example! Is there a clip of it floating around anywhere?
Thanks,

Re: What type of female villain’s death do you like?
I haven't seen the clip floating around.
But I think it's a great scene. KGB ***** Candice Daly is wonderful... going from a sneering killer to wearing a sheen of nervous sweat when she is shot in the back.
Here's the info:

Re: What type of female villain’s death do you like?
Any of them can be good depending on the execution. 6 is probably my favourite, because then I have it both ways; there's something sexy about a villainess who wins, but at the same time it's frustrating if there's no comeuppance. The more ironic, or karmic, the death the better, too.
8 would probably be least satisfying, since I generally like my henchwomen to be secretly more cunning than their boss, perhaps just waiting until the time is right to screw them over. Moot, of course, if the boss is also female, in which case the survivor wins my affection.
