Legend of the Seeker's New Villaness - Jolene Blalock
The 'Star Trek: Enterprise' actress is joining the New Zealand-filmed fantasy series as a new villainess for the show's second season, which debuts Stateside during the second weekend of November (7/8th) with a two-hour episode.
According to Mark's Sci-Fi / Fantasy Blog (hosted by About.com), Blalock has already begun filming her role as a key villain for the second season, a mysterious 'Sister of the Dark', who's described as possessing very powerful magic. She not only threatens Richard's (Craig Horner) quest to defeat evil forces, we're told, but her ultimate goal is to destroy Kahlan (Bridget Regan). Man, everybody's a hater.
Blalock joins Charisma Carpenter, who plays a feisty Mord'Sith warrior woman who regularly make Richard Cypher's life miserable - although there has been talk that either her or another Mord'Sith character may go on to join forces with Richard and Kahlan.
