A Proud Owner
I now have this game and it's incredible -- you'll all be quite happy when you get a chance to play it, I'm sure.
The battles move fast and the new system takes some getting used to, but it's definitely a whole new level in the right direction for RPGs. 
The in-game graphics look almost as good as cut scences from 10, including moving hair, eyes, subtle emotions.
The cut scenes are way beyond what I thought was going to be possible. Some of the cut scenes communicate in ways between characters without even saying any words -- which says an awful lot about how well emotions are conveyed in this game.
And the characters are likeable.
Vaan isn't annoying in any way, unlike Zidane and Tidus.
Panelo doesn't seem to be Selphie-esque in the least so far -- she's actually strong willed and not bubbly.
Baflear is smooth, Fran kicks ass and I still haven't seen much of Ashe, but she seems really strong, too.
I have no clue who the villain is, much like in FF Tactics, politics is the center of the game with characters acting in ways to put themselves in influential positions or trying to acquire power -- this is going to be a good one, I can tell.
With that said, you all have reasons to be excited. :up:
