I deleted my other journals on here because I wanted to start fresh and clear the past. If it's one thing I've learned in life, it's that you can't dwell on the past. It causes needless worry/stress and self-doubt. I had to learn this the hard way which wasn't easy.

Anyways, I just recently overcame a dreaded weight loss plateau that lasted for a month and 1/2. It's so frustrating when you don't see the scale budge for that long. This is where most people will give up on a healthy lifestyle and exercise program because they think it's no use. But that's not true!! You just have to keep pushing yourself and making the necessary changes and eventually your body will catch up with you.

I was thinking today about how much weight I have lost...71 pounds in a total of 9 months. 9 months ago I would have never thought it possible to lose this much weight, I thought it was hopeless. Needless to say, I am very impressed and proud of myself for accomplishing this. Losing weight definately isn't easy, and I'm proud of all the hard work I have done to get here.

I have 3 keys to successful weight loss that I have been living by and I live by them.
1) Mentality
2) Nutrition
3) Exercise

The first step is the hardest...you have to believe in yourself and believe that you can do it in order to really get those results.
