~Missy's Journal~
I'm having a hard time lately with my weight loss. A lot of the people who inspired me have either been fired or quit the gym I go to. Even my trainer has decided to move on to a different place because the management at my gym is terrible. I don't blame him for leaving, but it saddens me. I'm just having a hard time keeping on track and staying positive.
I have been frustrated for months with my weight loss because nothing I do seems to be working anymore. I've tried changing up my workouts, adding more cardio...doing less cardio....I've changed my foods around a few times....nothing works! I think my body has adapted and it's taking a long time for something new to trigger more loss. I've dropped 96 pounds....and I'm down to the crunch. I still have about 30-35 pounds I'd like to lose, but the smaller you get the harder it is to lose.
My boyfriend asked me to marry him on Easter Monday (April 9, 2007)...and I really REALLY want to be a smaller gorgeous bride! I'm sure I'll look just as good at the weight I'm at now...but it would definately be a dream come true for me.
Anyways...I have changed my workouts around again, and added something new. I'm only going to the gym 3 days a week now (Mon, Wed, Fri) doing weights and 1/2 an hour of cardio....and then on Tues & Thurs my fiance and I go outside for a nice long run. I have been trying to run for a long time and could never seem to last very long...I have managed to almost get myself up to 30 min of straight running with no break. It feels so good to be able to do it.
If you have any suggestions for me as to what helped you drop the last bit of weight or any inspiring stories..I'd love to hear them
