I actually learned this tip from my nutritionist..he told me that fruit can be bad for you if not eaten in moderation because it contains lots of sugar. The sugar IS natural, but if it isn't burned off or used up right away it does in fact get stored as fat.

**It is best to eat a fruit RIGHT AFTER a workout.

**It is best to eat a fruit on an empty stomach. Don't eat it with anything else...drink water a 1/2 hour before eating the fruit and wash the fruit down with 2 cups of water. This way the fruit gets digested through the stomach right away instead of sitting there!
