Mark Hobson appointed Head Coach for 2009/10 Season
Flintshire Freeze are pleased to confirm that the Head Coach for the coming season will be Mark Hobson. Mark has a long association with the club as a former player and will bring a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and discipline to the Team.
The Management Team of Nigel Ryland assisted by Lynton Crosby will remain unchanged and will support Mark in the development of a fit cohesive squad built on the core of players from last years team.
There will be a major change to the way in which the team trains and plays with the emphasis being on fitness and discipline. Fitness Training starts on Monday June 15th at 10:15 -11:15 pm this session and the Wednesday session at 10.30-12.00 pm will continue throughout the summer, only players committed to being selected to play for the Freeze next season should attend these sessions, the squad will be selected before the end of July based on fitness levels and commitment to this programme. The Monday night session will need to be paid for by the players and ALL players will pay £5, the Wednesday Session will remain FREE for all registered Freeze players or registered Flintshire Juniors over 16, all others will pay £5.

Flintshire Freeze are pleased to confirm that new Head Coach Mark Hobson has achieved his Level 2 coaching Qualification, the EIHA yesterday confirmed that Mark has passed his exams well ahead of the September deadline for the new season, Mark can now concentrate on building his squad, next years team will be selected from players who complete his intensive fitness programme with training sessions twice a week(Monday and Wednesday nights)
