Re: Welcome To Follytowers.com Forum.
Had the pleasure of visiting England this past fall. We fell in love with your gorgeous country. America has it's sights but something about England spoke to my soul. The Cotswolds are without a doubt the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Heaven on earth. Even beats out Bora Bora and that is saying alot!
After discovering this website before we left, I was looking forward to poking around Broadway Tower. Alas, we got there before it opened and had to keep going. I was able to admire from the road.
I will be going back to England I am sure and if I had my way, folly hunting would be good enough excuse.
This website is a treasure. I thought I was only one who loved things like this! Thank you.

Re: Welcome To Follytowers.com Forum.
Hi,
I have Just signed up, and wanted to thank you for this web site. What an absolutely wonderful resource. I will be travelling in the UK in April 2008, and I am really looking forward to seeing some of these follies. Unfortunately in Australia we don't seem to have any follies. The closest that we come are the kitch "Bigs" ie the Big Oyster, The Big Banana, the Big Merino (complete with all the equipment a ram needs).
HopefullyI will be able to post some photographs (of UK Follies - I woulnd waste a byte on the "Bigs").
Thankyou, and I hope that the site prospers.
Kevin

Re: Welcome To Follytowers.com Forum.
Hello, I live in Dorset and I have known about this website for about a year now. I discovered it when I was trying to find out about the Philosophers tower which I drive past quite often.
This website has shown me some farther a field follies that I would love to visit as I know all the ones in Dorset.
All the best,
Stephen
