Folly chat.
Hi everyone,
I was starting to think that I was the only follyhunter out there. I have been at this mad hobby for about 5 years and am off on my annual folly holiday tomorrow, staffordshire, anyone know any gems to visit. I have visited quite a few, my favourite has got to be Jack O Treacle (mad) in Somerset. A must for any folly hunter is Follies a national Trust Guide by Gwyn Headley and Wim Meulenkamp it is out of print but if you can get your hands on a copy is the best book ever.
Living in Wales there aren't a lot here but Paxton is one of my favourite.
If anyone would like to talk follies, my friends don't see the fascination, then I'd love to hear from you.
happy follying
Louise

Re: Folly chat.
Hope you get to see something in Staffordshire.
I think there are some on the Cotswolds and in East Anglia, certainly some in Cambridge
