Odd looking radio, incidently these can be expanded relatively easy. I have found the mod for this radio.

Incidently the mod is called the "mars" mod but opens up the TX from 1.8 to 30mhz? Which could mean the Kenwood you were looking at can easily be expended in a similar way, but more research required emoticon

i think ive asked something about mars mod, i was coming across it alot and wondered if it ment widebanded. cheers dave i'm not confident enough to do mods that involve too much soldering. i like the look of this radio
