I'll be glad when the autumn comes....
..as I wont have to keep "going away" all the time, crikey we're always away at weekends, it drives me mad, I want to be at home on occassion
Actually we're away tonight but back tomorrow so at least I'll get some time on the radio this weekend.
BTW, watch this space for a BIG antenna project here very soon

Well today I bought a Scam 12
I would hate to live next to me
7m boom 5 element yagi going on the top of it, 10m of movement starting at 4m high so 14m, wooohhhooo!, loads of pics as it goes

pity cos iam going to purchase a altron tower ,g1000 rotater & a full size tri-bander tonite so my clark pump mast should be avaiable soon,can't be arsed to put a 13ft square concerete pad down ,when a 2x2 & 4ft deep will do??

Doesnt need any concrete, I have a plan I'll take loads of pics whilst installing it, I've had some "brackets" made at work
Just looked at the one on JS, its also on Ebay, its a ST model only 6.5m high, theres another on Ebay as well, that looks like an ST model as well and is 8m high I think, Scam 12 are 12m high

i now looked at pics of some of them & they are punney,mines around 9 inches at the base
going down to 1 1/2 inches.just fitted in the chuckle bus. i thnk t's a 12 metre or bigger got to measure it.

Mines a good 12" square at the base, the smallest diametre at the top in 2", it has a key way right up through the 8 sections, installed it tonight, only got as far as putting the mast in, had it extended as well, looks the FDB
Tomorrow I plan to get the compressor set up and hopefully get the aerial on the top Took too much puff to pump it up by hand,
