shack and mast :)

well i finally got my shack sort of semi sorted and my mast up. I can sit in the shack and use the radios but i'm stil finding homes for alot of stuff in the utility room. i concreted the base for the mast and a friend helped sunday to hoist it up into supports on wall, just got to bolt the base to concrete and i can let it down and fix an antenna to it.... yay

only took 10 months to get round to it..lol

i have plt so no 11m antennas going up, i think i may have to build a 86m antenna as plt doesnt seem to effect that(not on my 40m dipole).

anyway i'll take some pics and put them in the pics forum as soon as i can(the FB meeting kicked me up the arse) emoticon

Nice one, will have to get round to sorting my aerial on the house, needs new coax and a balun fitting, then I can use radio from the house rather than the shed - its getting a bit cold this time of year.

yeh its cold in my shack, its a single brick walled utility room but it heats up ok with a small heater on(better than a shed, just).
be nice to get rid of plt and i can get a 11m antenna up on the wind up mast instead of a 2m one
